It is often hard to post the images we would ideally like to post here on our blog as so often the shoot is done for a bride to be as a gift for her groom on the day of their wedding, this can often be a long time off so we have to keep extremely quiet about the shoot even taking place!!!  However we do love to hear feedback when the great day arrives and not only is there a wonderful wedding taking place but the groom gets to open his superb gift.  One such bride has sent us this lovely email and has kindly agreed for us to publish it here on our blog, so a great big thank you Liz, from Earle and me:-)

Hi Jane

I’ve meaning to write to you and let you know how the photo album went when I gave it to Daniel.

Firstly I can’t believe I actually managed to keep it a secret all of that time!! :o)

I left it for him to open on the morning of the wedding, so I was not there to see his reaction but when we had a moment on our own later in the day he told me how amazed he was when he opened it!!   He really liked it particularly as it is s0 out of character for me - I’m never overly showy and am always a little self consious, so it made even more of a surprise.　 He really REALLY　loves it!

Sam and I enjoyed ourselves so much on the shoot and  I love all of the pictures and the final album.

Earle and Jane

It has been waaaaay to long since our last post but that has been I guess for a jolly good reason…… the studio has been so well received we have been kept busy in there along with loads of time preparing our exciting and frankly superb new web site which we promise will be available soon.

In the past weeks alongside welcoming new clients we have been preparing the albums for our Diva friends who have already visited us for their shoot.  The large albums have been going down a storm and our dear little 6 inch square albums are incredibly popular and equally ideal as a romantic gift for a loved one.  It is so wonderful to share the excitement and anticipation with those who visit us when they receive their album or prints… the only thing better could possibly be to see the reaction of their partner but that is not certainly not a moment for anyone to share!!

I am determined to post some of our recent shoots here.  We have permission from several Divas now who are so delighted they are pleased for us to share some of their images… how great is that? :-):-)  but for now these words will have to do and hopefully I will be able to post the images before the weekend.  Keep your eyes peeled!

Well the day finally arrived and so did these three friends who found us all the way from Chard and Bristol in Somerset. We all had a brilliant day! Kerrie and the girls all had a perfectly girlie time preparing make up and hair and deciding which outfits to wear and in which order. It was brilliant to hear all the excited chatter and planning going on amongst them all.   Naturally Earle and I had discussed with Kerrie previously the order in which we were envisaging using the studio so she knew exactly how to guide the girls in their styling ideas to ensure the very best results.

Yet again we are going to have to wait a little while before we can ask the girls if we can post any of their images as each of them has a special occassion soon when they are planning to give their fiance/boyfriend/husband their albums as gifts. Hopefully once the wedding and a certain other wedding anniversary has happened we can publish some of their beautiful photographs here.

Thank you girls for putting your trust in us and for the lovely email we received yesterday. We are looking forward to you all seeing your images and will in touch just as soon as they are ready.

Our Sunday Diva from Southampton in Hampshire is another ‘bride to be’ so a high degree of discretion is required, well at least until after the wedding and our Diva husband has been thrilled with his beautiful gift from his wonderful bride!

This being said, the whole afternoon was quite brilliant, all those concerns most of us girls feel were dissolved in no time at all and we were cooking on gas! Our lovely ‘bride to be’ was a total star and engaged herself completely in the whole ethos of Concept Divas, her confidence in Earle and me allowed us to enjoy our creative side to the utmost, the results will be more than our Diva bride would ever possibly have imagined and her groom will definately be completely bowled over!

Thank you to all of you this weekend for your trust and enthusiasm, we promise you will only be able to be thrilled with the results!

This has been a busy and wonderful weekend for Concept Divas!

Saturday we were all Diva’d up with Jane and her lovely friend Kim, from Bournemouth and Poole area, here for their shoot. Kerrie had a fun time with each lady developing their preferred look ready for the first fling in the studio with Earle and me. Both Jane and Kim were brilliant and threw themselves into the spririt of the occassion despite a few little niggling nerves for the first few moments, they soon felt confident enough just to go with the flow and their trust in us was quite wonderful, a priviledge for us both to experience but very much endebted to Kerrie and the wonderful rapport she immediately enjoys with our clients.

Jane it was fantastic to meet you and what a wonderful birthday present to give your lovely friend, inspired in fact as it is something her partner Lee, will be thrilled with also!!!

Your images will be ready really soon, we will be in touch as promised as soon as they are on line and are looking forward to our time together again for you to view them on our mega screen!

We were delighted to be able to offer our support to Ladies That Lunch in Bournemouth and their event raising funds for their favourite charity. A Diva shoot was amongst the items up for auction and we were delighted to learn the auction raised a substantial sum. Earle and I look forward to welcoming the winner of the Concept Diva auction to our studio for a boudoir shoot.

Earle and I are also looking forward to the proposed shoot with our first Diva couple! Some beautiful, romantic and sensuous images within our Diva set and weather permitting we intend to plan some of the shoot on location! For any ladies who may be expecting a baby, how about considering using our stunning studio set for some beautiful images of you and your wonderful pregnancy. Just call or email us for details.

Yesterday we were in the studio with a wonderful Diva who had travelled from Bristol in Somerset to see us for her shoot.  It was brilliant… Ok so we can’t post any images which is a huge shame but the surprise for our Diva’s fiance could well be spoiled!!!  One of our beautiful albums is going to be her gift to him on the evening of their wedding in a few weeks time.  The whole shoot was a wonderful success, our Diva had Kerrie our lovely make up artist and hair stylist here with her throughout the shoot to take care of her makeup and hair creating and developing different looks to accent the themes and atmosphere we were creating within the studio. 

We were delighted to hear Concept’s Diva arrived home again safe and sound after leaving our studio here in Poole, Dorset.  She is really excited and looking forward to seeing her photographs.  Who knows we may be able to publish a couple of images here in due course but that can only happen in our view with the consent of our client and most definately after her wedding day!  Oooh to be a fly on the wall just to see his expression when her husband opens his pressie:-)  Clint is still grinning from ear to ear after Mari-Anne’s shoot with us!!!

Today we had a consultation with a client from Southampton in Hampshire who is also marrying in the near future and has planned with us a date for a Diva boudoir shoot and album to give her fiance on the morning of their wedding in Portsmouth.  We are looking forward to seeing her again very soon and helping her achieve the very best photographs she has ever dreamt of for her and her husband.
